We have a triad system... which is represented in our system picture to the left by the elements: water, fire, and air.
Having a triad system, for us, means that for each part that exists in any element there are corresponding parts that exist in the other elements. Each part has a unique personality, historical job description, and way of thinking... all of which are greatly impacted by the element in which they exist, or the type of part that they are if you will.
Each triad, at least in theory, is a partnership that spans across the elements that creates balance within the system.
We previously understood the structure of our system to be light (good) side, dark (bad) side, and floaters who existed neither in the light or dark sides but could wander about and throughout. As a part of our journey, we have come to understand that there are no good or bad parts... there are only different kinds of parts, equally valuable to the system as a whole.
Therefore the concept of water, fire, and air is now applied to more accurately represent our system... in its entirety.
